Foundations School was built on the conviction that a transformative, Bible-based education should be within reach for every family in Boundary and Bonner Counties — not just those who can easily afford it. At $6,000 annually, our tuition is already 60% below the Idaho private school average. But for many North Idaho families, even this is a stretch.
The Build a Foundation Sponsorship Program creates a direct, recurring bridge between generous members of our community and students who need it most. No bureaucracy. No complicated application process. Just neighbors lifting up neighbors.

Contact Foundations School by phone, email, or through the website to let us know you'd like to become a Build a Foundation sponsor. We'll share giving details and answer any questions.
Choose your giving level & frequency
Select your monthly amount from one of our tiers — or tell us a custom number that works for your budget. Set up a recurring gift via Venmo, PayPal, check, or direct bank transfer. Donations are 100% tax-deductible through our 501(c)3 status.
We make the match
Our administration identifies a student whose family has applied for assistance and whose financial gap aligns with the sponsorship funds available. The student's identity remains confidential unless both parties consent to an introduction.
A seat is secured
Your recurring gift guarantees that student's enrollment is never interrupted by finances. We notify you when your funds are matched to a student and their seat is confirmed for the school year.
Receive your annual impact update
Each spring, sponsors receive a personal update letter from school leadership describing the collective impact of the sponsorship program — including how many students were supported, grade levels served, and general outcomes. You'll also continue to receive our monthly Ram Report newsletter.

Our Privacy Promise
Student names and family details are never shared with sponsors without explicit mutual consent. Sponsorship funds are managed by school administration, and families are never made to feel indebted to a specific individual. You will know that your gift is actively supporting a real student — you simply won’t know exactly who, unless both you and the family choose to connect.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Foundations School is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. You will receive an annual giving summary for your records.
Can I sponsor the same student year after year?
Yes. If both you and the family consent to an ongoing match, we are happy to maintain the sponsorship relationship year after year for continuity and connection.
What happens if my sponsored student leaves the school?
If the student you are supporting leaves for any reason, your ongoing gift is immediately redirected to the next student on our assistance waitlist. No gap in impact.
Can my business or church sponsor a student?
Absolutely. Businesses and churches are welcome and encouraged to become sponsors. Corporate and organizational sponsors at the Full Builder level may receive recognition in school communications if desired. Contact us to discuss partnership opportunities.
What if I can only give one time, not on a recurring basis?
One-time gifts are graciously accepted through our general Donate page and go toward tuition assistance. For the Build a Foundation program specifically, recurring gifts are preferred so students can count on consistent support throughout the year — but every gift matters.
How do families apply for assistance?
Families interested in tuition assistance should contact the school directly at (208) 610-6507 or rams@foundationsk12school.org. We have a confidential intake process handled by school administration with care and discretion.
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. If you prefer that your gift remain entirely anonymous — even to the school’s general communications — we will honor that completely. You may choose how much acknowledgment, if any, you receive.
